How it Works - Students
1. Students may Search our tutors first to request a tutor. Tutor profiles are listed by nearest college and state. We send tutors from the closest university of college, but we also use your zip code for students of all ages. Your requested tutor is contacted by us first but we always find 2nd and 3rd options with similar criteria.2. Students can go instead directly to the Buy Hours page to select a tutor by level. Tutors are placed into one of five levels by degrees earned, experience, years with our service, and difficulty of courses they can tutor.
3. Students may contact us by Email or by Phone to speak directly with the administration. We do not automate our service but provide you with direct access to customer service representatives or the founder himself.
4. Tutors may not be listed yet or we may need to recruit a tutor just for you. Because we have close relationships with many universities, we can recruit tutors for any subject.
5. Once you have purchased hours, it takes 1-3 days to place you. In the meantime, login to your student account and take our assessments. Your first choice tutor will contact you. After your first meeting, let us know if you wish to continue with the same tutor or desire a transfer. There is no fee for switching tutors and you can switch at any time, for any reason.
6. Super Tutors is an in person, in-home or on-campus tutoring service. Online tutoring is available by appointment and by request.
